Supernatural Do you think Gordon Walker's actions are justified? *SPOILER*

I know I'm gonna get a bunch of die hard fans saying "HE TRIED TO KILL SAM! OF COARSE NOT". But think of it this way. He was only trying to prevent Judgment Day. And yes he was a tad over the top with his ruthless killings of vampires but think of it this way, If a vampire killed someone you loved or turned them into a "creature of the night" would you want their killers to respectfully give them a quick and painless death? I see him as a Macbeth type character in a way that he is driven by ambition and although he acts ruthless, I still feel slightly sympathetic. And yes I know this is fiction but the writing of this show is so well done that you can't help but feel as though this is all reality. So comments like "Dude, its a TV show" are not welcome.

Well, what are your opinions?
