Supernatural Question

Just about the start of S4 which I'd never thought of before... :S

It's just that why did the 66 seals only begin to break after Dean had come back from Hell?? Surely the demons would take the advantage of Sam being reckless and vulnerable (and unaware, without Cas's warning) to start breaking seals before 4 months after Dean had died??

Therefore, there was no rush to start breaking seals, even after Dean broke the first one. Also, if you'll notice that it's only after Sam starts drinking demon blood again that the last of the seals start to break all at once. Since the demons and the archangels were actually working towards the same goal, there really wasn't ever any doubt that all the seals would be broken.

the first one was breaking when dean became a torturer in hell...and the poor sam was manipulated by ruby to begin the breaker of the last one... no seals're breaking before the death of dean but the demons didn't do anything to give the possibility for dean to get back his soul from the pact in the 3 season because they wanted him in hell to push him to break the first one...
