In his TVGuide interview, when asked whether Buffy will ever know Spike is alive?, Joss Whedon said Spike will appear in 3 books, does that mean she will know or what??

To be honest I don't know.I would love for her to know that he is alive but I don't like how they made Buffy's charcter in the comics and I'm not sure if I can trust Joss whit writing Spuffy again.
