I think both had good lives, but Spirit's was better.

Rain was taken care of by people

To me Spirit was braver and took more risks; while Rain was peaceful and somewhat timid. The reason for this might've been because Spirit was wild and Rain was domesticated... don't know. Together they both had equally good lives, Spirit just had a more... 'dangerous' one maybe lol xD

Well the question could of gone both ways

Spirit was Wild and free and almost got squashed by a train and Rain was cared for by human beings so she wouldn't get hurt

Well i think Rain cuz Spirit had to do lots of hard work so....

Difficult to say because we barely know anything about Rain's life, but I get the impression her life is much less eventful, and she doesn't seem to have had much freedom in her life either. Both horses had a lot of compassion in their lives and both seemed to enjoy and be thankful for what they had. I imagine Spirit's life was more exciting though, which is why he got my vote.

That said, whether or not excitement in your life is a good thing... I guess that's a matter of opinion in itself!
