Well, no one is really sure. They only stopped it because the producers didn't have the money to continue both the anime and the manga (at least that's what I heard).
Some think it won't continue at all. (well it HAS been 8 years since it was started...) Some think that they'll gather the money and continue it after the manga is finished; a few think that they'll finish the anime, then create another one which is more faithful to the manga- like FMA and FMA: Brotherhood.
We can only hope though.

Wow and that is sad about the money part XC i've watched the whole series and thought it was unfinished, and i'm praying that they will continue the anime! I rleally enjoyed it. Now about the manga... I still HAVE to read it Xo im going to check my lschool library because my school library doesnt have that many mangas to read or choose from, v.v sigh* I wish my library was cooler and had more variety.
