Batter purifies shit. At the end, turns out he's just as impure as anyone else. Kills his wife and son/god, and then turns the world 'OFF' so that nothing exists anymore. It makes me sad.

There is no 'dark side' in my story- but the Antagonists are the characters who are loyal to Elurra. There is a character who was a loyal Elurrian and switched sides...for xer own gain...but that's beside the point..they went from the antagonists side to the protagonists side.
