Sonic Fan Characters Question

Your character is about when they see something flash in the distance. They walk towards it and find that it appears to be a very large storage crate, almost the size of a One-story building. On the front is a symbol, a full circle, with rotating spiked-shapes swirling around it.

The crate seems to be damaged at its front, which would explain why its lock, and part of its base, was crunched. The door is opened a bit, and once inside they find that there are at least twenty rectangular capsules inside, sticking to the walls. At the base of each they slowly turn from green to red on a small light, and then the lights fade all together.

What is inside?
