Another slightly off topic subject... but Favorite sonic boss fight?(No final bosses)

However, if it doesn't count, I think I'd have to say Dr.Eggman from Sonic Adventure 2 while on Ark. I find it awesome how Tails kicks Eggman's ass for "killing" Sonic. Of course, you can argue that it's the other way around, depending on which story you're playing, but the Dark Story isn't in the spotlight now, is it?

Personally I prefer the generations version of the battle seeing it wasn't as annoying as the heroes version of the battle.

Definitely the Sonic Vs. Shadow rival battle from Sonic Generations. It's awesome enough that they recreated the old Sonic Vs. Shadow boss fight from Sonic Adventure 2, the game that started my love for the sonic series, but they also add all new elements to the fight, with Shadow's Chaos Spear attack and Sonic's epic final boost attack, and not to mention that it was on an all new raceway instead of just a straight runway forward. And the topping on the epic boss fight sundae is the fact that the music playing in the background is the good old music from the original. A boss fight truly worthy of my SilverFox Seal Of Approval.

Even though the song "All Hail Shadow" also plays, and was never in SA2, but that's fine, because it's an aniversary game. But I will agree that the boss battle was epic, and it reminded me a bit more of stardust speedway than the Metal rival battle.

But I also will say this: I thought it was perfectly fine running on an endless track. Why? Because in SA2, if you were too slow in this boss battle, you'd fall down with the falling the platforms, which seem to fall at a rate proportional to the speed of the player. If the opponent fell off, he would respawn in front of you. If you're doing laps on the same course, there's nothing compelling you to keep running other than the cores, at which point it's more like Sonic Rivals; a footrace. I guess that's what they were going for, considering that you can easily say that the chemical slide in Chemical Plant act II in Sonic Generations was reminicient of thwe watter slide in Sonic Adventure 2, or the half pipe special stages, if you really want to go there, in Sonic 2. Point being, just like the chemical slide was an allusion to another Sonic game altogether, the fact that you're doing laps might be another allusion. Which, again, is fine, because it's an aniversary game.

Mostly because they're HILARIOUSLY easy to cheat. At least in the PC version they are.

Especially the second fight between Sonic and Shadow. Just keep pressing the A button and 5 seconds later congratulations you won.

Mine is also from sonic unleashed it is Dark Moray from Holaska because it uses a pattern that is either really easy or super hard and in the level it gives items you can throw at it
