Your character awakes with a throbbing pain in their head. They try to move but find they are tied up with a neat bow at the end. A piece of paper is tied to their forehead. It appears to be a business card. It reads “Thanks, scapegoat.” With a shining word in the middle. “Oblivion”

How did they end up like this? Wait… something… something is in their hand… a large black leather purse… they reach their tied hands inside… money. Lots of money. Was it a gift? Then why would this Oblivion tie them up?

Once out of the bonds, your character attempts to regain their memory. They were… at the movies… a voice- a woman’s voice, a girl was talking to them from behind,{ (If character is male) flirting it seemed}, and boasting about the money she had stolen. When your characters had realized she was not joking, they chased her… she wore a baseball-cap, and kept her face away from sight… then they lost her… then she ambushed them.

This revelation was good to remember at such a time, because the police are now surrounding your character, guns pointed at their head.
