Did you base your FC on someone or a character from something?

My cheater design is base on tails (2 tails and it a fox =s i am not that original)

I've been told by a lot of people that they think Tak looks like Tails, and that I based the character on Tails, but Tak was not inspired by Tails at all actually.

Tak has...
~One Tail
~No Pupils
~Taller, and older
~Different Personality
~Voice
~Interests

But they both have red and white-ish shoes, and are foxes, so I guess that's what made people think that.

A lot of people think that Rynk was inspired by NICOLE, which is a little more accurate.
Rynk was originally a Persian lynx, but I couldn't think of an outfit that didn't cover too much for her, so I took the idea from Nicole's one-strap toga, and the color. Rynk herself was not based on NICOLE though, but NICOLE is my favorite cannon character.

Talia Reephs was inspired by Sam Fisher

She's still related, but the character has drifted away from the Tails-recolour she used to be. *mini mumbled curses at my past self*
Kyoko's based on Kyoko Otonashi from ''Maison Ikkoku''.
River's based on Norman from ''Paranorman'' that came out around about October.
And there's a lot more that I can't be bothered to think of o3o

Created Echo and his brothers when I listened to a foren band Eisbrecher: Miststueck look it up it is a good song and I drew a lot of my charecters based on songs like Scruffy i was listening to time of dying y three days grace

Shadey Grey was based off the Sonic character sort-of.
Her history started when she was a male gray wolf who lived with his team, Team Shadz. Then I thought, why a boy? I'll make him a girl!
So Shadey became a female wolf, Shadey the wolf. After half a year my knowledge of FCs grew and I changed her to a hedgehog. Shadey the hedgehog was perfect. Two months ago I gave her a last name, Grey. So to this point Shadey Grey was my main FC.

Mtl actually has several inspirations,his model was heavily off of Nicole the lynx from the sonic Archie comics...however he originally looked to similar...so I had to remodel the character before making a public release...so I looked around for a little inspiration...hardly found anything aside from some clichés...then I looked through my passion: video games...and the inspiration came flooding in,mtl's coloring was based off of crash bandicoot's fur coloring,mtl's personality is generally the same as mine but with a heroic twist inspired by Mario,his main attack spike shot was inspired by machine gun fire in various shooting games,and his hair style is a combination of sonic's and rawk hawk from paper Mario and the thousand year door...not to mention other video games had a HEAVY influence on my series....

Miley, Mars, Maria, Marcella, Marc, Miku and Mary are all based of me.
Faithful the Mute Cat is based off a cat from the quartet "Song of the Lioness"

The rest are pretty much original.

Blood is based of of me except he is a lot braver than i am hes design was originaly based of tails but i slowly drifted away from the two tailed Blood and gave him one tail from there i gave him hair and clothes and vola there is the Blood we all know and love

My characters, are based on my moods.
I have lots of different personalitys, I show for different peoples.
But mosly, what I think shows me out most is Rima & Mars...~ But that's how I did my characters.

Shock--

He is based off of a few things like his species and fur design came from my dog. His style of clothing came from a Digimon character named Koji Minamoto, who wears a bandanna also (a blue one). His electrical powers came from a video game character named Cole McGrath from the "Infamous" series. His personality came from a mix between me and a character named Aang from "Avatar: The Last Airbender"

Well lets see-
Mostly all of them are based off a movie, game, or youtuber I like...
Sky Is actually based off of Skydoesminecraft, So I made him as original as possible.
The way I changed him is so:
-His voice is alittle lower
-He's a orange hedgehog
-He's Taller and younger
-His sunglasses wrap around his head like flight goggles
-And his eyes show that they are brownish-green.
So, yeah. That sums it up pretty well.
