Sonic Fan Characters Question

You are walking around in a beautiful forest. You hear a blood curling in the forest. The sky turns gray and the clouds swirl against the sun, causing it to vanish. You stare in horror as the plants die. Night comes and tells you this:

Night the Cat: "A war is starting. You can chose to join the heroes, or you can fight for the bad and watch your friends die. Your choice."
