I'm the only witch in the entire family. And that's saying something, as it's aa big Italian family. It stinks because theyreally don't "get" me

@fly210 Girl, the question is "What is your blood status?", not do I give a ______ or I don't give a ______ about blood status.

My mum's a witch and my dad's a Muggle. But I can't work a printer, sadly.

I have more of a pure-blood attitude towards technology. I'm more prone to solve my technological problems with a baseball bat than a spell. I really don't like being the only witch in my family. I'm brilliant, but no one really undertands me

How'd your mom react when she found out?

She thought he was kidding. She started laughing, but when he showed her some magic she freaked out and started yelling at him. It was a pretty traumatic scene, she tells me. Of course he told her before they tied the knot.

I didn't really know for sure until I got my letter. It came when I was eleven, but my parents didn't want me dropping my Muggle education to "learn fictitious nonsense." Thanks to Professor Dumbledore, we reached a compromise. They still don't really like it, but it's not like I can do magic in front of them

It doesn't really matter, but if you're muggle-born, you could be in both worlds. :D

My mom is a witch and my dad is a muggle, however, both of them are happy that I learn magic.

You're lucky, then. My parents take the Dursleys' view towards Hogwarts. They don't want to believe all of this is real

I think it's wrong. If you're a witch and you learn magic, then it obviously is real. If your parents don't believe in magic, that means they also don't believe you. Parents should trust their children.
