Silent Movies Question

Need a recommendation.

I'm currently a filmmaking student and I have to come up with a research proposal for next year.

I've decided to look at 1920s German Expressionist cinema and it's impact on modern cinema.

I've seen movies Nosferatu, Metropolis and Pandora's Box. What other movies have you seen that captures that expressionist vision?

The number one must be The Cabinet of Dr Caligari. Although not pure expressionism, many Fritz Lang Films contain elements such as Dr Mabuse the Gambler. You should also watch, among others, The Golem and The Last Laugh.
