what are the best places to shop in France, mainly Paris and Bulougne.

It really depends on what kind of things you want. All the main places are pretty expensive Dior, Gucci and so on. Monmartre is good for arty/vintage things. I've never shopped for clothes in Paris because its too expensive and i've never had the time to find "back alley" places. Of course the Champs-Elysee has almost everything.
