I believe in issuing sex worker licenses, and enforcing mandatory monthly checkups for them. Police can prosecute unlicensed sex workers to the full extent of the law, as these will most likely be the seediest ones and those forced into the business. Also, Johns will be advised to ask for a license before payment or engaging with the sex worker, because they can be arrested for paying an unlicensed prostitute.

Nevada has legalized brothels. They are safe and the girls who work there are pretty happy. One was quoted as saying she liked it because she liked working with people and honestly enjoyed her work. They all used condoms every time and at the brothel the show was talking about there had never been a case of HIV among the girls.

Having designated areas like say Nevada is fine, but I think it needs to regulated or places like Atlantic city and NYC would get extremely yucky and overun with them.

Ok I never really understood why prostitution is illegal because similar things are legal like paying people to strip is legal and paying porn stars is legal and that's not any different really! What is up with that anyways? If you can get paid to strip or make porn and that's legal then what about getting paid to have sex for non porn reasons?

It's wrong. It's not profession to sell your body for chump change. You can make money another way. Most people don't even think about the consequences of diseases, accidental pregnancies, or even children becoming prostitutes & trained to lie about their ages. They even make them fake id's.
