Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Sailor Moon Crystal: "Showdown, Death Phantom" Review
I can barely read what I\'m writing right now. The tears! They won\'t stop!  And it\'s all because Act 23 was a heck of a roller coaster ride. There was a noble sacrifice, an unexpected awakening, and an epic face-off between good and evil. So many feels!
This episode is called Showdown, Death Phantom, but it should be called Heroine, Sailor Pluto. Because that is what Pluto is. A true hero. She knew she was going to die once she left the Space-Time door and used her Garnet Rod to stop time, but she didn\'t care. All she could think about was saving her friends from eminent destruction (AKA Demande smashing the Silver Crystals together and blowing up the world).
Sailor Moon Crystal: First Season Wrap Up
I think it\'s safe to say I wasn\'t the only one looking for Kleenex during her final monologue. Especially when Pluto looked longingly at King Endymion while saying her goodbyes. Poor Sailor Pluto. Always forced to love from afar because of her duties as a Guardian. The only thing sadder than her unrequited love was when she summoned Diana (in a magic bubble!), and thanked her for guarding the Space-Time Door. The feeeeeeels!
By the way, the voice acting in this scene was terrific. Kotono Mitsuishi (Sailor Moon) and Misato Fukuen (Chibiusa) knocked it out of the ballpark with their heartrending sobs for Pluto to open her eyes. Kudos to Sailor Pluto\'s voice actress as well (Ai Maeda), whose stoic, nuanced performance helped make Pluto\'s death one of the most memorable moments in the series. Say what you will about the show\'s inconsistent animation quality, the voice acting is always top notch.
I wish I could say Prince Demande\'s sudden demise was just as powerful, but it felt rather flat. I guess that was inevitable, though. I mean, he was a major villain on the show, after all. Still, I thought he\'d
found redemption when he protected Usagi and her friends from Nemesis\' wrath. Nope. All he did was attack his old boss so that
could be the one to kill Sailor Moon. Which made it hard to feel sorry for him when Wiseman/Nemesis/Death Phantom blasted him to smithereens.
Why We\'re in Love With Sailor Moon Crystal
Speaking of Wiseman, we learned he has yet ANOTHER form. Now he\'s Death Phantom. Man, how many forms does this thing have? And how do you get rid of it? Because I was certain that after Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask (he\'s back to normal!)
the Guardians threw all of their powers at him,  the good guys had finally won. But, no. This thing just keeps coming. I guess I have to give Death Phantom props for being tenacious. He\'s not going down without a fight, that\'s for sure.
Luckily, the Guardians have a new ally to help them in that fight: Sailor Chibi Moon! I thought Chibiusa\'s transformation sequence was pretty cool (the wind blowing through her hair was a nice effect), though I\'m sorry that her awakening came as a result of Pluto\'s death. At least we know her friend\'s sacrifice wasn\'t in vain.  Because of Pluto, Small Lady is now a full-fledged Guardian, one who hopefully has some cool powers to show off in the final act.

Act 25 was a strong episode, filled with sadness and hope. Though we mourn for Sailor Pluto, we can rejoice in the re-awakening of Chibiusa, and the re-unification of friends.
