Lisa seems to be more mature then Minmay.

Depends are you judging the Macross tv series or the Macross Movie Do You Remember Love?

In the tv series Minmay was highly immature until nearly the final episodes. It was all too easy to dislike her since she was an aspiring singer, totally self absorbed, bitchy, and a flake. But Hikaru was equally immature b/c he never stood up for himself and SHOWED her that he loved her.

In the movie Minmay was already a highly successful singer/actress who wanted someone who loved her for who she was. It was much harder to dislike Minmay in the movie since she was not as immature or flakey like she was in the tv series. Also one key difference was in the movie she genuinely LOVED Hikaru shortly after they met and continued to love him even when they become separated. Hikaru however quickly "fell out of love" with her which is the opposite of how he was in the tv series. In the tv series he loved Minmay so blindly, for so many years without so much as a hint of interest from her in him. Also in the tv series so much more distance and time passes before he realizes Misa is someone also suitable for him and yet he stays loyal to Minmay. In the movie in an extremely short time he changes his mind, not much loyalty there, so don't feel so bad for him. Either way in the tv and movie he ends up with a great woman, Misa.

What lynn Minmay duh we already know that he is in love with Lynn Minmay and will awalys will besides shes HOT and why would Lisa want to date him remember (whos that old sour puss)Rick hunter's exsact words.

If we're talking Robotech, then definitely Lisa. As for "Macross: Do You Remember Love?", are the characters really that different from the series?

If so, I'm glad to hear that Minmay's character evolved a bit.

Well it would be best for you to download "Macross: Do You Remember Love?" and see for your self,yeah characters are different,but not that much,Minmay is more mature,but I still like Lisa better...

Please the Macross movie was just teh Macross series in a nutshell. It touched parts of the Macross series to which our Robotech Macross saga follows, We never saw the development of Minmei in teh movie that would have brought her to the level she exhibited in that story. While Minmei may be more his age, the fact that she never clicked with Rick/Hikaru Is clear enough. She was a spoiled child looking after her own dreams and never once saw Rick the way Lisa did. Sure It took Lisa the better part of 2 years to realize her feelings for him and another 2 years for them to finally hook up with out a doubt. She still understood him more. She listened to him and made him feel whole. While Mimmei just treated him as a friend. If she hadn't realized it too late he could have had something with her.

Lisa, even though I adore Minmei.
