the nick with John K still on was pure awesomeness, the nick withoute him was not as good, but for some reason when he got it back it turned into something that looks like they were trying to be John k but couldn't, maybe its that yaoi fangirl assistant of his's fault :/
That was a frickin hard question! Mainly cuz in my fanfics, with the adult version they can F*!#, and F*!# goood! ^-^ But don't ask me, I'm a frickin TEENAGER! I'm feel sexually 'there' quite easy!
I don't prefer either one. They each have good and bad points. John K was allowed to create freely with the Spike version, and when not suppressed the man's vision can get a liiiitle gross, but the humor's still there and it's even better unbridled. If you like John K's style, I'd think you'd like it when he gets to do exactly what he always wanted.
The thing everyone seems to be complaining about, though, is how Ren and Stimpy are gay in the Spike version. Well, tell me that element wasn't present in the Nick version. The only thing that changed is that they were allowed to have sex on Spike. When the episodes were made, John was still on his statement of "they're whatever they need to be" for the story. Note how Ren still lusted after women on Spike. Only after did John change his statement to say "yes" they're gay. So now it's official anyway. Who cares? They still act the same as they always have, and I love them.
