I don't really read sci-fi or fantasy, so I don't have any recommendations to give you. But you may want to try the link spot, it's fairly active and people are always giving good book recommendations over there :)

You mentioned liking supernatural stories; there's an anthology entitled "Sympathies for the Devil" containing various interpretations of, what else, the devil. Offhand, I don't know the editor's name. Dan Wells has written two books, "I am not a Monster" and "Mr. Monster" about a teenage boy w/ sociopathic tendencies, who fights otherworldly serial killers. Just a couple of ideas! Good luck.

The Green mile and It by Stephen King
and the Magicians nephew by C.S Lewis. They were very entertaining, with allot of supernatural value.

One of my favorites is the Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It's much more adult (darker and more explicit) than Harry Potter, but the characters are really interesting and well-written. You could also try The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.

I always suggest Anne Bishop's "The Black Jewels" trilogy. Very excellent fantasy series. Very 'angsty' though, with violent portrayals, intense emotions and themes.

C. S. Friedman's "Coldfire Trilogy" series is very good. Its Science Fiction based.

What are some of the interests you like or past reads you've enjoyed. I hate to make recommends when I don't know what kinds of stories you have liked in the past.
