You are completely crazy. Maybe the thing is that you don't understand the true romanticism.

"Sybil" by Flora Rheta Schreiber

It's a novel about a woman, Sybil Dorsett who is diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder AKA Multiple Personality Disorder; She has sixteen different personalities that speak, look, act, and interact with the world in their own different, individual styles. It resulted from horrific abuse she endured at the hands of her mother during her childhood. :(
It's very interesting, and a little difficult to understand. But I wanted this book for a long time, and I love it anyways. If anything, it teaches you that the mind is possibly the most complex part us humans possess, and how vulnerable children are and of need of nurturing and love when growing up :)
