Akane is the most passionate throughout both the anime and the manga. I think that's why she was my favorite female character in Ranma 1/2.

Passion is definitely Akane's forte. That's what I find so attractive about her. When it comes to passion the other girls just can NOT compete.

The raw passion that burns in that girl out shines all the others. There was no competition there.

Akane has always been the most passionate girl in the series and I think that's part of the reason I've grown to love her character so much.

I also think Akane is a very passionate girl, but shes not the only one who i think of when it comes to passion. I think Shampoo is very passionate too: she does everything with passion^^
but ukyo at the other hand really isnt very passionate… shes more like a "big-sister-chara" =)

I think Akane is the most passionate of all of them, but I guess Donata has a point. Shampoo, even if I do not always agree with her actions, displays quite a bit of passion as well. I think Ukyo does have passion, but most her passion is put into her cooking above anything else.

Akane emits the more passion than any of the girls. Shampoo has passion, this is true, but it is not nearly as strong as Akane's. Shampoo also has a lot of mischief. It is both fun to watch, yet at times annoying. She is cute, which is what I think most people do notice. But when it comes to passion Akane is the most obvious pick for this question and it was also one of the reasons she was the leading lady in Ranma 1/2. I do believe if Shampoo was made to have been the leading lady in Ranma 1/2 then shampoo would have had a personality similar to Akane's and Akane would've been similar to Shampoo. This is some of what I began to understand through reading multiple pieces of Ms. Rumiko's works. And her leading ladies are the most passionate in the series, and always show a certain amount of sympathy and care toward others.

I can not defend all her actions, but their is not a person on Earth who could defend all the action of Ranma, Shampoo, Ryoga,ect, nor can a person defend all the actions they have done themselves. All in all Akane is the most passionate girl in the entire series and is also the one with the biggest heart. And you cannot compare that to Kasumi because we do not really know a lot about Kasumi besides ' she's NICE.' And that means...?
Being nice and having a big heart are two different things. Is Kasumi really feeling the way she acts or is it a mask she puts on to hide something else. I like Kasumi because she IS nice and a good motherly figure, but I do not know much about her beyond whats on the surface.
So I still strongly believe in the passion that emits from this fiery girl, Akane, and I admire the sympathy and care she shows to others, including her kidnapper and her rivals as well. She has shown more compassion toward her rivals then any have for her or each other.

Akane is the most passionate. A girl with that much passion probably has trouble controlling it, but she is strong willed, fiery, and she has a beautiful and compassionate heart.

I think Akane has a SUPER amount of passion! She's SO cool! I love this girl! She has enough inner strength and will power to rival Ranma's , I love her fire, and she has a really BIG heart!!

Akane has the most passion, but both Akane and Shampoo have a lot of enthusiasm and spirit.
And Ukyo is very dedicated to cooking so cheers to all 3 I guess.

But I was thinking that her first name generally means red, red dye, or brilliant red; and Tendo means the sun, laws governing the heavens, or celestial path. ( path of heaven, or way of heaven and Eatth.)

Considering Akane is pretty much the Red Heaven Way, its only fitting that she was the most passionate female in the entire series.

I saw someone picked ukyo. That's understandable, I think, depending on your point of view. I still think the most passionate in general is Akane, but Ukyo puts an enormous amount of passion toward her cooking, so I can see why someone could pick her. Shampoo can be passionate as well, but mostly I see her as mischievous, and its funny how she knows how to press the right buttons to piss Akane off, I pity Akane, but its still funny.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the answer to this.

Akane is, without a doubt, the most PASSIONATE. Ukyo is pretty passionate about cooking, but I'm not sure if or what I would considered shampoo passionate in except her Amazon customs.
Shampoo seems to have, maybe a cute (at times), bubbly, mischievous personality, but I really didn't notice any raw passion in Shampoo, like I did in Ukyo and Akane.

I love this character. She definitely has an inner fire that all others characters ambitions pale in comparison to.

But at least Akane don't cheat to win what she wants not like Shampoo and Ukyo
