I think my preference lies more toward Akane than Shampoo, both in looks as well as personality.

I think Akane-chan is the most beautiful, but Shampoo's looks are nothing to scoff at either.

I've always thought Akane was a very beautiful girl, She just doesn't wear as much revealing clothes as the other girls do, ( though Ukyo doesn't have that problem either, but she wears boy clothes and I wouldn't know how to express that, though you'd think constantly taping her breasts down would eventually have a REALLY negative effect in the long run)

I think Shampoo is sexy and at times yes she is VERY cute, but Akane is the one I think of as beautiful, not only on the outside, but because of her beautiful spirit.
Both are fun to watch because they are quite lively females, and in some alternate universe, may have even became close friends instead of heated rivals, but in my opinion I still think Akane is the most beautiful.

I think both are quite pretty, but Akane doesn't try to use potions on Ranma. Shampoo does add spice to the show, I may not always agree with the things she does, but I love having her there to keep things lively.

I'm with Lum 121 with this one. Even people who think Shampoo was prettier didn't start to get upset about this.

If you think about it its fair. I think the picture looks fine, but really, How many Shampoo fans do you think have posted bad picks of Akane in an attempt to win the vote, so why does it matter now that the roles are reversed.

I'm gonna agree with Kaname3613 and Light24 ( Lum121 too)! I kinda like that pic of Shampoo, but if you think it ugly that's your deal; however everyone KNOWS what they look like anyway and Shampoo fans have tried similar method, but in the end you vote for YOUR favorite character.

I prefer Akane's appearance, but the picture with both of them in it kinda shows that they are both evenly beautiful, just in different ways and it also depends on a persons preference. Shampoo is sexy and exotic, and she tends to wear revealing clothing which enhances this. Akane on the other hand is very beautiful and elegant in appearance and leans more toward modest clothing most of the time, but is still extremely beautiful inside and out.

Shampoo is sexy, exotic and she has a bubbly personality. Akane is beautiful and elegant and she has a very passionate and fiery personality. Both have unique qualities, and while I like Akane's personality and compassion for others a little better, Shampoo is not heartless and both can be considered rare and beautiful gems.
