I love Akane She's strong, and cute the perfect fiancee for Ranma.But the thing I don't like about her is when she jealous easily and she do not listen to Ranma when Ranma has a plan.

Ranma and Akane is the best love team forever? Why? Even though Akane has a short-temper and easily gets mad. She is also kind and nice. So, that is why Ranma loves Akane. Akane also loves Ranma for being kind and nice. But, he always teases Akane. But, still Akane loves him. Best love team forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They might fight a lot, but it turned out to be a lot like Inuyasha and Kagome's situation. They fought a lot too, but there was no doubt they would end up together. Akane was very reliable and trustworthy to Ranma, no matter how many times she accused him of cheating or whatever.

Ranma and Akane are perfect for each other. Shampoo and Ranma are a bad match because she see's him more as a trophy husband to take back to her tribe and show off, then anything else. Ranma would also not want to go back to Shampoo's tribe because they see men as inferior to women.
Ukyo is not a good match because Ranma only sees her as a friend or one of the guys and she's too submissive to him. Part of the reason Ranma and Akane are a good match is because they challenge each other to better themselves, whether its cooking, social life, or on the battle field. Ukyo and Akane will both support Ranma ( and Shampoo), but Ukyo would basically be more of a servant than a wife. To put it simply she's too tame for Ranma, who's name means wild ( or disorderly) horse. ( Not really a good match)

I think Rumiko Takahashi would know her characters better than any of us here. She made them and since the cannon couple is Ranmaa and Akane that should speak volumes by itself. Ranma and AKane were literally CREATED for each other and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Akane is the only girl I think is strong enough to be a TRUE partner with Ranma. Shampoo and Ukyo are too busy trying to please him and fight over him. Ranma needs someone who will not agree with most everything he says and isn't afraid to tell him off when he's about to do something REALLY stupid or lets his ego get away with him. All Shampoo and Ukyo do is Inflate it, and considering he generates a ki attack based on pure confidence, an ego booster is the LAST thing Ranma needs. Plus Ranma can be a total jerk sometimes and he need some one, not only willing to put up with him, but some one who will speak her mind. I think Akane is the only female who is WOMAN enough to take on someone like Ranma.

Akane is different from Shampoo and Ukyo, she is her own person and she shouldn't HAVE ta be compared to those two.She has a strong personality and above all she respects herself. Ukyo tried to change herself wearing skirts and what not to get Ranma to like her,and Shampoo flaunts herself to grab Ranma's attention. Akane may try to cook and stuff, but she's trying to learn a new skill not change who she is. I also think her short hair is a symbol of Akane's inner strength and the fact that she's perfect just the way she is!!! She also has a bright smile that, for one, shows her relations to Kasumi, and two, allows others to see just how beautiful and compassionate Akane is inside. And I JUST LOVE her soft brown eyes, they are so innocent and CUTE!! Like a puppy! I see why Ranma tends to get mushy around her sometimes, I do the same thing when my dog begs for food! But I think that what he feels is on a somewhat different level than puppy love. I just don't know how he manages to resist her for so long, its obvious he loves her, and she's SO CUTE!!!

Ranma and AKane of course! I just love the cannon to much to consider them with anyone else, but I can always respect some one else's ideas. That is, as long as I feel the person respects mine too!

I've always loved reading about these two and the romance that bloomed between them. I think this is my favorite out of Rumiko Takahhashi's works, and part of the reason is because of Ranma and Akane. [Though I also love One Pound Gospel, but both Sister Angela (Marie) and Kosaku Hatanaka both look a great deal like Ranma and Akane. Especially later in the manga. You could really start to see it then, in fact, You'd have to be blind not to notice it, it was just that obvious. Then again, I guess some people wouldn't notice right away since they might not be looking for it, but the resemblance was HUGE!)

I’ve seen a lot of anime in my life but there is one that will forever have a place in my heart: Ranma 1/2. It was my first anime that I watched completely, read the manga, and fantasized about. I will always love Ranma and Akane (and all those crazies from Nerima) because they taught me everything that I know now: boys are idiots, girls are crazy, family is annoying and hilarious, boys are idiots (must be repeated), girls don’t have to be frilly delicate flowers in order to be considered beautiful.. but mostly that a tomboy is sometimes all a guy wants.

Ranma may have had his choice of women but he never strayed from the love that changed his life .. who not only gave him a friendship but a family and love, Akane. So it must be shared that although many don’t know about Ranma or Akane .. to me, they are a part of my life that I would never erase because it taught me that love is insane, hilarious, idiotic, but mostly real

I don't even see how ranmaXshampoo or ranmaXukyo even became a possibility. Looking at all the evidence; A real relationship would've never worked out with ranma and either of the other girls, even if Akane wasn't around.

Akane is the only girl suited for ranma. And you'd have to be blind not to notice that they love each other. Even though they often try to hide it.
The other girls are only there to make the plot more interesting, sometimes I think people only see what they want to see, and not what's really there.
There wasn't even any moments where ranma would contemplate the other girls as a possibility or even a possible spark. Thats why I think the even the idea of ranma with shampoo or ukyo is kind of outrageous to say the least.

Ukyo and Shampoo never really get to know Ranma that much. Akane can have a temper, but there's many times ranma brings it on hiself.

Ukyo is annoying at times, and Shampoo's selfish. She tends to treat Ranma more like a possession rather than a person.

It just wouldn't work with any of the other girls, nomatter what they tried. Ranma and Akane were pretty much specifically made for each other. A relation ship with any of the others wouldn't last and if Akane didn't exist the only thing Ranma would probably end up married to would be martial arts.

Akane and Ranma besides Akane loves Ranma the best , but Shampoo doesn't love Ranma She's with him only because of her Amazon law and Ukyo is engaged to Ranma because her father wanted to .. She was just a kid back then so She don't love him , but Akane at the first place she hated him but after so many scenes between the two she starded to love Ranma and gave up on Tofu , Ranma loves Akane cuz at the first place he didn't hate her but he wanted to know her better so he loved Akane XD (he adimit it at the last chapter of the manga)

Shampoo is definitely best girl, I can't believe she only has one admirer. The mangaka is seriously biased. Besides I would rather ship Ranma with anyone else besides Akane.
