i'm always happy when Ukyou gets some spend some quality time with Ranma, but in the end, Akane and Ranma were meant to be together.

I'm of the small minority that believes Ukyo is Ranma's true love. They're already best friends, she can cook, and she's the only suitor of Ranma's that doesn't seem to repel him. And really, if you think about it RanmaxAkane doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense. They're constantly fighting and the only affection they show towards each other is jealousy. Sounds like a very unhealthy relationship to me.

Ukyo and Ranma are not really best friends, she's his childhood friend. Ukyo dreams of marrying Ranma and him helping her run her restaurant and take care of kids with her; she assumes that life will make him happy, but she never gets to know him or find out if that's what he really wants. You can't really have a relationship based on what you want without finding out if they want the same thing can you? If you pay attention you realize Akane is really Ranma's best friend. They do fight, but there are actually many scenes where ranma and Akane just talk to each other and rely on each other when they need help. Ranma and Akane do insult each other, but I don't think Ukyo is very good for Ranma because like Shampoo they have Ranma on some sort of pedestal, and that is also not healthy. They constantly agree or tell him how amazing he is, and never been on the receiving end of Ranma when he's being a real ass. Akane has already seen Ranma's good and bad and learns to love him despite it. ]Akane is the only person Ranma talks to on a regular basis, and trusts. Akane stands by Ranma in many of his challenges and supports him and Akane is the only girl that Ranma really wants to impress. She makes him want to be a better man. Despite Ranma's bravado covering up his weakness, Akane doesn't see Ranma as some immortal and is truly afraid when he's in trouble Both do get jelous, but sometimes Akane also gets mad that Ranma doesn't have the guts to tell people what he wants and stand up for himself and tell the other girls what he wants instead of leaving everyone to put their life on hold waiting for him to make up his mind.
In reality. Ranma already has. By the time Ukyo arrives, Ranma is already in love with Akane. She never stood a chance , and even Ukyo starts to see this at times, but whenever Ukyo feels that doubt creep in she'll just assure herself with, "but I'm ranma's cute fiancee."
A little delusional if you ask me. First she wastes 10 years of her life trying to kill Ranma for something that's not really his fault and blaming one event for her life on them and not taking any responsibility for her own choices, and,now she's wasting more of her life chasing a man who will never love her back.

Akane es simplemente la mejor porque lo conoce de verdad, es una mujer a parte de hermosa y con un bello cuerpo, lo es tbn por dentro, ademas tiene caracter, no es de esas chicas sinopinion si no que sabe lo que quiere. Tiene honestos sentimientos, es fragil como ninguna y es fiel en su amor. A veces creo que es mucha mujer para Ranma.

Why should if matter if a wife can cook or not though??? I thought society had moved beyond this sexist rubbish. But back to the actual subject... Akane is the only one for Ranma. That has been since the start of the story.

ukyo because its not just shes being shallow or so its just so happned that ranma and akane are the 2 main characters and ukyo just make few cameos but if you'll look in a different way ranma and akane seems to be more of bff's and ukyo has been in love with ranma from the begining and tbh shes the one who tries the hardest and unique since shes been angry at ranma for 10 yrs not knowing the whole stiry but its not her fault if shes chasing a man who can never love her shes just not gining up or so

Shampoo, because if Ranma had beaten her in his boy form he would have fallen in love with her first. Ranma and Shampoo have the most in common and the best chemistry.
