What side are you on Ranma and Akane,Ranma and shampoo,or Ranma and Ukyo?

Ranma and Akane.
Ukyo and Shampoo are just there to add more chaos to the plot. They're wasn't even any moments that hinted at any potential romance with the other girls. Mostly, other than an annoyance, Ranma sees Ukyo as a childhood friend, and he might potentially see Shampoo as a somewhat friend when she's not clinging him or bothering him for dates; but mostly I think having these two hang around and compete for his attention only serve him two real purposes. Ego boosters and possible allies if needed.

As Shampoo is the strongest of all girls cute looking.
And knows crafs and how to cook most importantly.
Akane is nothing.

Akane is the only girl I think is strong enough to be a TRUE partner with Ranma. Shampoo and Ukyo are too busy trying to please him and fight over him. Ranma needs someone who will not agree with most everything he says and isn't afraid to tell him off when he's about to do something REALLY stupid or lets his ego get away with him. All Shampoo and Ukyo do is Inflate it, and considering he generates a ki attack based on pure confidence, an ego booster is the LAST thing Ranma needs. Plus Ranma can be a total jerk sometimes and he need some one, not only willing to put up with him, but some one who will speak her mind. I think Akane is the only female who is WOMAN enough to take on someone like Ranma.

I must say that, out of all of Ranma's fiancées, Ukyo is the most deserving of a relationship with him.

Ukyo had dealt with a lot of hardship because of Genma's stupidity and thievery. She was lied to, put into a false engagement, left behind, made fun of by other girls because of it, and then spent ten years of her life being bitter and wanting revenge. I don't blame her. I would probably do the same. Ukyo was furious at Ranma when she first showed up, but quickly forgave him when she realized it was really Genma's fault. She's probably one of the nicest and most mature characters in the series.
That being said, as much as I love Ranma as a character, I think Ukyo's maturity level is much too high to be in a relationship with him. Ranma places Ukyo as one of his oldest and best friends but I rarely see him treating her as such. I also can't stand Ranma's constant neglected of Ukyo's femininity. I really can't see how either of them would be happy together if the idiot can't even treat her like a woman half the time. Ukyo is very caring about Ranma and always lends out a helping hand or an occasional ear to listen to (When Ranma feels like talking that is). She does whenever she can for her finance. However, I almost never see Ranma doing the same for her, which is just down-right unfair and uncaring. While Ranma has done a _few_ nice favors for Ukyo, he usually helps out because he fells guilty that he screwed up. Ukyo has gone out of her way sometimes to help Ranma but I've never seen him do the same.
now in the series Ukyo appred late but i think if Ukyo came in early and got more scenes i think most fans will see how close they are and how true their love is
