(Since Bandit mentioned it, I thought I might do a little article on what it would be like to be sucked into a game xD)
You put on the headset, fiddle with the settings for a minute, then actually turn the game on, thinking how cool this will actually be. For years game developers had been wanting to create a true VR experience, but it had taken many years and trillions of dollars for it to be a reality.
You think back to how this had occurred, how you were one of the beta testers to try out the game. Suddenly, you realise that the game hadn't actually started yet, but then you feel a strange sensation, like a buzzing or vibrating that you could feel right down to your bones.
'This isn't right', you think to yourself. But then you feel a tugging/dragging to your entire body and the screen of the headset goes white. Then you feel your entire body get sucked in to the screen.
'What the hell?!' you yell loudly, but no-one can hear you, because you are not in normal reality anymore. Instead, appear in the game itself, at least, as far as you can work out.
The game is just a VRMMORPG, called Towers of Magic, where you fight monsters, level up and get stronger. Eventually you will have to fight against bosses, that appear in certain locations. And the idea to complete the game is to level up to at least 100 and try and complete both Towers of Magic, which have the most powerful monsters in the whole game and collect the Sword of Truth, which you need for the final boss.
You look around, but don't see anyone. In fact, you're just in a field, with a forest to your left and a lake to your right. You can't see any monsters, but thank god, because you don't even know how that would work when you've been drawn into some weird scenario like this.
'But why?' you wonder to yourself. 'Why did this happen to me?' then you begin to think about how this happened and whether you really were stuck in a game. Grudgingly, you decide that it's not really that bad being stuck in a game and that you can't anything about it now, anyway.
So, you start walking towards the forest. Even though you know there will be monsters in there, it's the logical thing to do, since you know that you have no choice but to level up somehow. You look down and realise that the thing poking into your leg was actually a sword in a scabbard, tied around your waist. It's just a simple short sword and the only weapon you get when you start the game. You also get 3 potions and the use of one spell - the most simple one. You check your inventory to make sure, but feel slightly relieved when you see that you have 100 charges of the fire spell and 3 potions.
As you enter the forest, you grow nervous, because it's dark, but it's not a problem really and you sigh, then carry on walking, hoping that you'll find something small and easy to slay.
You hear something in the bushes and stop, staring off in the direction you came. Then the bushes rustle and shift violently, as a large, dark shape leaps at you. You realise that you have absolutely no idea what you're doing, that buy this game was a mistake, as the giant wolf swipes you with it's claws, cutting open your belly, then rips your head off as you die and it all goes dark.
