How do you react if someone gives you sympathy?

Depends on the situation of course I'd be polite about it. But in all honesty it doesn't make me comfortable.

I'm pretty much exactly the same as you. I am not a touchy feely kind of person. Like depending on how sympathy is expressed I'm uncomfortable with it because I never know how to respond.

I am 100% not comfortable with physical displays of sympathy. Pls don't touch me, I'm not a hugger.

Yeah the pep talks are always kinda weird to me. usually when I see someone up set I just sit with them and let them get it out.

I am extremely uncomfortable.
Given my experiences in my middle school years involving backstabbing, anyone I don't know showing sympathy makes me extremely uncomfortable and I don't like it.

I'd appreciate it, but I'm not completely comfortable about it. Now if they're trying to pander to me while doing so, then I'd have to disavow it and say something.

Side note: I'm not comfortable with males calling me "baby."
