Is it normal to frequently dream about dying?

Funny thing is, I always remember the dying dreams really clearly, like, one where I died in the shockwave of a meteor shower and I remember clearly feeling no pain from dying. Then the next night, I fell off a mountain and remember clearly thinking 'oh wow, this is it for me, huh'. And, last year, I had one where I should have died in a car during a volcano erupting, meanwhile thinking 'this is it, I'm gonna die'...

My dreams are fucking weird, man. Like, the dying dreams are honestly the least weird of them all, too.

Fuck my life, honestly. I'm a fucking weird specimen.

I'm reading Carl Jung's work atm so I know a few things about dream and interpretation (and also from my own personal experience)
You had an anxiety dream and it is very common to dream about dying. It means that new changes are taking place in your psyche. Transformation of the ego. Or that you might be interesting some new situation or environment.
Even I recently had a dream about volcano, it might suggest suppressed emotion? Or somethings in life needs to come out of the surface.
Falling is one of the most common thing people dream about. It represents anxiety.
The car is also very important. If you're not able drivbe then it means you might feel that you're losing control over your life.
I don't know anything about meteorite shower (maybe a reconnection with your spirituality? Or a bad omen? Idk) Anxiety dreams can tell us a lot about our psyche if we try to connect them with real life events. Also the feeling you get after the dream is also important. If you felt somewhat relieved or 'woh that was a fantastic dream'then your psyche must be just decluttering (though I'm not very sure about this last point because it came from my personal experience)

Aha. Carl Jung is an absolute authority on dreams, I completely agree with that and I understand your point.

In all honesty, I feel like my drreams are often too weirdly placed to make sense.

But, I think that I may again experience from understanding the points you have made. And,I feel like I may understand more about my dreams from what you have specified.

I think it's normal, since I used to have death dreams during my hardest times so when things get settled I stopped having them. Try not to think about it if it gets stuck in your head it will repeat.

I dunno, man. I just generally have odd dreams. Like, when I remember them, they're generally pretty strange.

It is completely normal to dream about dying. It is also perfectly normal when it turns out it wasn't a dream. People die in their sleep all the time, it's a natural part of life. Nothing to be worried about
