I thought that it was good and necessary and it was a major goal.

Now I completely regret going and view it as more of a waste of money than anything else. :v

I thought it was the step I needed to take to further my education and build my life.

Now I see it as something I think many feel rushed into or feel like they need to go to uni. Uni isn't for everyone. There can be good in it. But it truly is a huge expense that can be a regret. And I do feel upset that this side of university isn't really made transparent to high school students. That there are different avenues to take and that they could be far more successful going down a different path.

"I think many feel rushed into or feel like they need to go to uni. That there are different avenues to take and that they could be far more successful going down a different path." This! College is so pushed that people feel like there's no other option.

Just a business who wants you to pay over 1,000 to learn and get a piece of paper when you can just learn by researching, reading books about a specific goal, or learn by just watching youtube.

It was a decent way of learning aspects for a few careers you might intend. But I don’t recommend it for anyone doesn’t know what to major in no matter how serious your family members are about. It’s never a good idea to waste money and time aimlessly going to college with no plan what so ever to gain from it.
