If you were given the opportunity to upload your conscious after you die to a virtual world would you?

It'd be strange to no longer have a body, but I think I could get use to it. For all we know, all of us started out as just a bunch of consciousnesses before our bodies existed. I doubt we'll ever know for sure, but it's cool to think about sometimes.

My question, though: What would I be doing? What would the virtual world be like? If none of my favorite characters are there, (or none of y'all) then I'm out.

Considering that there are already some weird theories about us being entities in a huge universe simulation or universe being a hologram, I don`t see the reasons why not give it a try. ;P
