Do you also celebrate May Day as a public holiday dedicated to the working people everywhere in your own country?

I heard that in some countries such as USA people DON'T celebrate May Day at all, instead they have their own public holiday called the Labour Day which is celebrated in September, or is it the October perhaps, I'm not sure.Let me know if that's true!

Well, you heard correctly. In New Zealand, we don't have a holiday on the first of May, but we do celebrate Labour Day in October.

@legend_of_roxas I must say I'm rather surprised you never heard of a May Day before. My BF Seán is a RC much like yourself (he's Irish!) & he told me that on 1st of May all the Catholics worldwide already celebrate St.Joseph the Worker as a patron saint.
