Has anyone mistook you for the opposite sex than you actually are?

There have been quite a few times where someone had first mistook me as a girl. Even though I absolutely don't try to look feminine, like wear makeup or anything like that. I think it's pretty funny, though. XD

Erm, online only. I am bisexual, so idk, mentioning bf sometimes might make people think I'm a girl. And my voice is more of a boy's voice, so some people question it on voice chat....
I don't think I act feminine or anything, or look feminine.

Mostly online. There were also times that people mistook me for the opposite gender when I was pretty young. Somewhere around 4-5 years old. They could hardly tell the difference it seems !!!!

In real life, no.
Online? Yeah. Mostly because I normally don't tell anyone what I am and so a lot of people just guess on it. XD
But I honestly don't care.

My brother used to get mistaken as a girl a lot when he had long hair, though. Until he hit a growth spurt and looked more like a man.

It's happened online a lot in the past, and for a while I just resorted telling people online I was a guy because like everyone preemptively thought I was.

It happened sometimes IRL back when I thought I was Death the Kid and had short black hair and wore suits all the time.

It doesn't happen at all any more though... XD It'd be pretty confusing since I've become particularly feminine and girly these days.

It's always online tbh. I just assume people are either horny or desperate. Normally when they do assume these things. I toy with them alot.

So, this means you flirt with horny guys then tell them you're a guy after awhile?

^Pretty much. There's a wide array of instances but that would be one example. Or sometimes I might not even tell them my gender at all just to see how far they will go. Then think they are stupid afterwards for just assuming I am a girl.

Not irl.

On reddit, yes, because ~70% of the user base is male and I feel like people assume you're male unless you show otherwise.

I've been guilty to the reverse on fanpop: assuming people are female by default because the user demographics seem skewed that way. Interesting when you've been reading someone's comments in a 'female voice' and then finding out months later that they're actually a dude, lol.

xD It's np it doesn't emasculate me in any form. I often think about how it would be like to be a female tbh. And it's a simple mistake. Altho I do wonder what was the fact that told you I was a male tho.

Someone referred to you as "he" and my mind flipped out a bit xD Made me realise that there's an unconscious difference between how I read comments from a male vs female, if only in terms of picturing described scenarios it my head. It was weird, man xD

No, but I've been called a female a few times, due to guys thinking that I'm not "completely manly."

My gender identity is Ubermensch, but everyone seems to think I'm a girl.
Probably because of my DDD boobs, but there isn't much I can do about being sexy.
