It has 50 percent more calcium than milk if I remember correctly.

It's also generally all I drink besides water since my family doesn't drink cows' milk (after reading The China Study) and since I think coconut milk tastes weird.

On a more random note, Moringa leaves contain 4 times the calcium of milk, as well as multiple times many other healthy foods' vitamin content. link

Almond milk has no calcium unless it's fortified. It's also pretty low in protein. All I'm saying is, it's fine to drink it coz it tastes good, but don't trick yourself into thinking it's healthier than regular milk. I did the same with soy milk- thought it was healthy before I found out that most of it, like almond milk, is heavily processed. Made me sad, lol, coz I love it. Also while I’m here I’ll make a PSI as a biomed kid: The China Study has some pretty dodgy science in it- it tends to cherrypick from bad studies, misrepresent the data of other studies, and has numerous flaws in reasoning. There’s a lot of critiques from scientists on the subject but the shortest is here link

I get bad colds every spring and honestly that experience is much more enjoyable than drinking almond milk

I don't know. I for one think people are insane to not like it, i mean it's made from almonds, which are good for you. Anyways, I prefer to drink it than cows milk as cows milk leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Unfortunately it's not really healthier than regular milk. Contains no calcium unless fortified, has little protein (even though almonds do), and it's quite heavily processed (with a few controversial additives in there). Same goes for soy milk *cry*

I guess it's healthier and vegans like it because it's not made from any animal milk. But I don't like almonds or almond milk.

I have no idea since I've never really tried it. Anyway, I don't have any problem with milk in general. Love drinking it. Especially cold. It's just so invigorating !!!!

I personally don't necessarily like it better than regular milk- though I do like both. I think almond milk tastes better on some cereals though.
But I also just like almonds in general. Didn't used to but I do now.

For me - I like Almonds, and I am Lactose intolerant - so I get my calcium and a flavour I enjoy.
