The American dollar's value has gone down exponentially in the last century or so. For example, apparently you used to be able to buy a piano for twenty-five dollars! (that was quite a while ago, though.) Also, we don't have the gold in banks to back it up! So, if the dollar somehow loses all worth, then we're screwed.

Sometimes i think why some born in rich and some in poor families , some make dieting plans and some begs for food ....how poor people are supposed to survive with no money

Oh, it's not just you. I live in Canada and the prices have definitely rised as our dollar went down. It's ridiculous.

Depends on where you live and the economy, in some places the prices have gotten higher due to over production, which also happened during WWII
