Random Question

Extremely random question about a movie...

This is mainly for people who have seen/heard of the old movie "Brothers Grimm." I haven't seen the entire movie, but I know it's about an evil queen needing the blood of 12 girls to keep her outwardly beautiful and youthful appearance. Yeah, creepy, right? But my question is, why do at least two of these "girls" look like little boys? I get the whole tomboy fad, but they can at least make them look like girls? And plus this movie did take place in a time period when girls were expected to wear their hair long and wear skirts. I might sound bigoted to some, but this is just my opinion. Here's two links to clips to show what I mean (don't watch if you're extremely sensitive to frightening images/peril):

Eh, I don't think it matters at all. It's a fictional movie so it's not like it has to be historically accurate, besides it might have been a hassle to have put wigs on them or something, it was probably best to just keep their hair like that.

You've got a good point, but I just found it funny that the two girls looked so similar.

Yeah, like I said, this wouldn't make sense to someone who hadn't seen/heard of the movie.
