Do any of you know about or at least are familiar with this fruit called the durian? Also by any chance have any of you ever try/had durian before?

As for me here, I NEVER had/try durian before nor do I EVER want to in my life

FYI the durian has been called "The King of Fruits" in Southeast Asia where it originated from including in Malaysia and Indonesia

I know of it as I've seen it on the food network. But I've never tried it or seen it as the stores where I live don't have it. It seems like from what I saw on the food network, is that people either like it or they hate it. And I for one wouldn't want to try it. It just doesn't look appealing to me.

Have heard of it but never eaten it. Would try it if someone gave me the chance, though, due to a general philosophy: give something a chance before condemnation. Especially applies to food :p

I've definitely heard of it but have never tried it. A lot of people say it really stinks and has a foul taste so I don't know if I would want to.

I've heard of the durian, yeah. Mostly from Super Mario Sunshine, as many other people have.
I've never tried it, though. I'm not against trying it, being it would be a new experience trying it out. (Apparently it tastes disgusting, but I at least want to try it out for myself to see if it's true.)

Yeah, I've heard of the durian. When I went to Singapore a few years ago there were signs in windows saying things like 'no durians!' and I was really confused until my mum explained about the awful smell.
