I've come to learn (upon tedious years of research in the field of Raimbology) that Rainbows are actually very vindictive, cynical, and cunning things. They always have ulterior motives...those tricky bastards!
The rainbow you've been talking to is particularly shady, as it is missing the color green. I suggest you re-think your friendship with this rainbow specifically. *Whispers* think of the children.
The best way to avoid these snide and evil creatures is to sleep with a rubber duck at all times. Rubber ducks are the natural enemy of rainbows--though my research can't prove why. Rainbows also have a rather acute fear of dubstep, techno, trance, and other forms of electronic music as it is too loud and causes them to fade much quicker.
