Hey I need some help with a report and if anyone read treasure island that would be helpful ^^

So anyways I'm stuck on this question. How does the setting of the story impact the protagonist or the conflict? Explain in at least eight sentences with at least three examples of scenes/events in the book.

Well I'm not going to do your homework for you if that's what you were hoping, besides I read the book a few years ago so I don't remember the details; but think of it this way....

If it wasn't set in the 18th century how would that affect the story? If it took place in the future what technology could Jim have that would have changed the story (cell phones, better/faster boats, etc.). Would there even be pirates? Would Jim be more or less willing to join them? If it took place in the future what medical or weaponry advancements could they have that would have killed or saved some of the characters?

Hope that gives you some ideas to start with.
