I'm the same! I find it easier to learn with the class, and if I get stuck on a few things, write it down a couple times :)

How about you try using you're doodling to study? It may sound silly but it works if you do it right

I was actually having the same problem last semester. I would always be caught do anything but the class work. Then i just set goals for my self, day by day. And now im a straight A student.

I have a thing for doodling all over my work o-o
Just write the word "WORK" in the sidelines where you're more likely to doodle, so it reminds you to work not daydream while doodling.
