How do i sing PPL?!

Alright I have been singing in a chorus since middle school. You wanna make sure you are relaxed when you sing, and that you are not breathing shallowly. You do not wanna raise your shoulders when you sing, you wanna have your belly expand. You should be breathing from your diaphragm. A way to help see if you are breathing right is to lay down on the floor with a book or something flat on your belly and see it rise and fall. Another tip is to do simple little vocal exercises to help warm up before you really try and sing. They can also help expand your range and they help prevent vocal disorders. I am a person to believe that no one is a bad singer until I have heard them so I would have to hear you before I agree or disagree with you saying that your voice sucks.
