Can someone help me?!

The past 5 nights I've been having trouble sleeping. I keep thinking about over breathing, and when I do that I start to over breathe, I don't over breathe enough to pass out, but to panic. I usually stay up past 6 in the morning trying to calm myself down. I'm not even sure how I manage to fall asleep. While this is happening, I get a headache and my stomach hurts. I feel like I'm about to throw up. Their are brief moments where I feel I'm fine, but then I go right back to feeling the same again. Sometimes I think about it during the day and I panic a little bit, but I'm usually able to distract myself with other things during the day. My mother has tried to give me medicine for my stomach and headache, and I've been eating fine. But last night I through up. I'm actually really terrified to go and lay in my bed and try to sleep, that's when it starts. I don't want to go through this again. Can you give me advice on how to stop this, or at least tell me what could be wrong with me? The first night this happened my legs kept jolting so I stayed up all night, I couldn't go to sleep with my legs like that.

Seeing a doctor will surely help.

If you ask me, I think you have some kind of anxiety. The problem with anxiety is that the more you think about it, the more you get anxious, and the more you get anxious, the more you'll think about it ;)

I've experienced some sort of anxiety everytime I went to sleep a while ago. At those moments, I just tried to control my breathing and only think about my breathing.

You can try to concentrate on your breathing as well by taking deep breaths. Slowly inhale with your nose while counting up to 6 seconds, then when you feel your lungs are full of air, slowly exhale with your mouth while counting the seconds. Repeat 10 times, and if you're not feeling more relaxed after that, do it again. It's a simple relaxation exercise, but I can assure you it'll help.

Also, when I felt anxious, I would simply pray. I'd ask God to help me feel better (without panicking) and I'd just talk to God in my head about anything I felt and thought, about my day or a book I had read or a movie I had watched. It also helped. Whether you're christian or not, it doesn't matter, you can just try it and see if it helps you calm down as well.

For the stomach and headache, I think it's because by feeling anxious, your body gets tense. So, I think that it'll get better if you manage to relax. It might take time but try to be optimistic, you can do it ;)! (I gave you my advices, but still, you could go see a doctor, that will probably help)!
