technically speaking the person who has passed is officially dead, and won't be brought back to life by any means physically or spiritually
i say this b/cause i don't believe in any religion and do not practice any practices related to it. other people may disagree w/ me, and that's perfectly fine. you are entitled to believe in whatever you want. personally i prefer the ideology that the person who has passed lives on in memories

Praying to God to bring back the dead. Just know that the person that died is safely with Him and no longer suffers from pain. One day, when Jesus returns, the dead will live again... Not as zombies, thankfully. :-D
