Who's your favorite US president?

Lincoln's a cliche choice but I'm really fond of him - less for politics and more for personality and speeches though. I also like Johnson because he's totally underrated and I like an underdog. c: Yeah, I'm a total history buff~

I don't like Lincoln anymore; he ordered 500 Native Americans to be hanged for no dang good reason. :< I USED TO LIKE HIM, DAMMIT.
*sigh* Maybe that's when he was a younger, much less responsible President... I DO respect him for freeing the slaves, though. :)

I'd have to say Kennedy. He was an amazing man.

I like Kennedy too, although I still get a kick out of the fact that the Kennedys are seen as the quintessential American family despite his cheating. xD

Considering I'm not American, and I don't really care about American politics (which by the way make no sense whatsoever), my answer shouldn't really be considered... but it's Obama.

It actually makes a lot of sense. Read the constitution, it's ingenious.

Haha, you don't have to be in the country to care about the politics! It's just like following current affairs in general c:

I don't understand much of politics anyway... I do try to follow current affairs by watching the news but a lot of the stuff makes very little sense to me, or I disagree with what everyone is saying entirely. Oh, and Prussiaducky I had a look at the constitution (though admittedly I skim read most of it) and the system is still a little confusing.

JFK. He had such a strong sense of patriotism. Why did he have to be assassinated? I would have liked to see what he could have done with this country.

IMO, more got accomplished because he got assassinated. He wasn't able to pass much because Congress wasn't with him but Johnson could play the dead president card and get everything through. ^_^

Johnson, Washington (not for his presidency, more like his role in the seven years war and revolutionary), and FDR (a big time favorite of mine)
