Well, what other way is there? Do you have a tracking chip in-planted in your remote? Nope. Th only option is to stop asking online and actually get up and look for it. If you want the remote that bad, you'll find it..
That depends. When people lose things at my house they always come for me because I'm best finder but really I just remember and memorize where they put their things.
It really depends if I saw where they put their things. If that's not the case I look in the most obvious places first then the places you wouldn't expect it.
