Can Anyone explain what Tumblr is?

I don't have one but I have seen ppl go on and I just looks like instagram but on your computer. All I see are pictures and stuff. That's the best explanation I can give you.

It's a website where you put up pictures or videos or fanfics of fandoms you love. Other people do the same thing and you can follow them and their "blog", like what they post, or "reblog" things they posted.
Pointless but fun, funny, and addictive.

Tumblr basically is a website where you can have your own blog (or more than one, however these have some restrictions) and people can follow you and you can follow them back.
Most of tumblr is "separated" in 2 sections: hipster blogs and fandoms. But there are also those blogs who are in between.
Nevertheless, both are great fun and you won't regret it if you join tumblr.
