So my crush invited me to the local swimming pool and told me to invite some of my friends and I really want to go but I hate wearing my swimsuit in front of anyone, like seriously the only people who have seen me in my swimmers are my really close friends. I was thinking we could all go to the shopping mall or somewhere else but how do I suggest that instead of the swimming pool? What should my excuse be for not being able to go to the pool?

Any ideas are appreciated :)

Thanks.

No you actually don't understand how insecure I am, that is not an option.

You have to get over it. You can't live life in hiding. But if you really don't want to, just don't go, stay home and think about how much fun you're missing out on and how much you'll regret not going.

Well i'm sure you look fine in swimwear, deary. (Not to sound creepy btw e_e ) I would just go because if you can find one that you really like and feel comfortable in, then get it. Maybe your problem is how it shows too much skin? So get one of the ones that has like swim boxer short thingies.

Or, you could just tell him that your mom wont let you go to the pool and she only said you could go to the mall.

Ignore what you look like. If people judge you on what you look like in a swimming suit then they aren't your real friends.
I'm sure you'll have a great time regardless of it :)
