Burlesque. I saw that the DVD is finally bargain priced, so I got a copy as a joke gift for my daughter, as she's the one who made me go see it in the first place.

Isn't that with Cher in it?

Cher is in it, and she's fine, it's just the rest of the movie. Christina Aguilera portrays a small-town waitress with big dreams of becoming a star. So she heads out to LA and decides to work at a burlesque club. Kristen Bell plays the star of their show. Kristen Bell? I'm sorry, I just didn't get THAT casting decision. Girl has no presence. Anyway, the dialogue was laughable, and while I normally don't provide my own input, a la Rocky Horror, I couldn't stop myself. Even when my daughter tried to shut me up by reminding me we were in the white people's theater!! Don't even get me started on that.

Before I'm misunderstood, it's not formal segregation, of course. The theatre in question was up in the suburbs north of us, whereas the theaters where we normally go is closer to Ohio State, thus you can expect the audience to be as entertaining, if not more so, than the actual movie.

Twilight Franchise.

Its not like I hate Vampires or The Twilight Novels and I don't want to offend anyone, but I really don't like cast of Twilight and their acting, specially Kristen Stewart.

Its my personal opinion. Don't get offended.

Hands down The Avatar: The Last Airbender - casting was messed up - (they cast dark people for light people & really ill-suited & light people for what was supposed to be darker skinned... there was a general idea but the director went with "his own") they left out the humor & cheek that made it so awesome, momo was freaky scary and supposed to be a cute lemur-thing, AND they even got the names wrong sooo mispronounced - now that is just wrong.

Dungeon girl definately. I don't recommend that to anyone. The girl getting held captive is so boring and she narrated the story. The story is weird and the movie has repeated scenes of some creepy man doing things to dolls. I also don't recommend human centipede lol especially the second one.

A tie between Eragon and Dinotopia. Eragon did not go anything like the book. And Dinotopia had crappy acting and was too fucking long.

Is it odd for me to say that all the films I have watched recently - besides The Cabin in the Woods and V For Vendetta since both are just masterpieces - are complete shit? Yeah.

But if I have to pick only one, I would probably pick Black Swan. I had so many expectations for it and it ended up disappointing me.
Also Tokyo Gore Police, but that was because I was forced to watch it with swedish subs and that kinda ruined it for me, not to mention that the gore was so exaggerated I ended up laughing instead. [I'm fluent in swedish but I can't stand watching films with swedish subs unless if I have to.]

I can't even remember the names of them, or how many there were..but, my Mom likes to buy really cheesy, low-budget made films because she finds the corny acting entertaining? Yeah.. I'm not at home currently, but I'll provide a list later.. they're all supposed 'horror' movies too. *Shakes head.*
