can anybody tell me what susan meant by it skip her generations mean ?

i know that she doesn't have dragon powers herself only her son and daughter has but the question is what did she mean by "skip my genaration ?"

It means that she didn't get the ability, but it did get passed to her son and daughter. It's really just what it means, it skipped over her.
