I am scared...

So i was happily derping on my iPad when I heard these weird dog whimpers and dog growls outside. They kept getting louder and the growls kept getting uglier. Then the whimpering ceased and the growls stopped shortly after. I cannot see what is going on since its midnight and its lightly raining. I know two of my neighbors with small dogs, and I actually liked those dogs. It sounded like Deutchesina (i know, weird name but you can obviously see the root word word there) and I can't go outside to check. I'm scared, because a thunderstorm just started and it makes even more obscure. Im serious here, what the heck do i do?! Everyone in my house is sleeping, and i feel as if a coyote went and killed the poor thing. Coyote's have been a growing problem for dogs and small children in Massachusetts for a little time, but now not so much.

Yet again, I'm serious. No joke about "oh, they are probably mating" I am NOT in the mood for a dirty joke when I think a poor dog just died and I couldn't do anything.

They might just be whimpering over the storm. Hopefully, they're okay. But,I hope a coyote doesn't hurt anyone of them. You should grab a flashlight and look for them.

I hope they are okay, but i'll investigate in the morning, since i cannot just climb over the fence of my nieghbors, ans there could be a potential coyote there i would probably be severely injured if there is one

Since it's late at night for you and you're potentially facing wild animals, not to mention the fact that you are the only one awake, I wouldn't do anything about it. For your own safety, stay inside and try to ignore it until morning, when you can investigate it properly. It'd be too late now anyways, I might say different if it wasn't.

I think I may wake up my parents and call 911 just in case

Either they're growling at the storm or fighting. Try to ignore them (If you can).

Yeah, but it stopped right when he storm started, simontaneously (im too worried to spell and grammar check) ended when it started. Which makes this mystery even worse and scarier!

Go tell your parents then, don't call 911

It's probably a baby coyote and an adult coyote.

Since it's so late, I would recommend staying inside because you might be dealing with a wild animal possibly and probably stronger than you. If you plan to go outside and checking it out, I would recommend bringing a flashlight and a weapon if anything dangerous is out there. I would recommend bringing your dad with yoU.

Or else your dogs are scared of the storm. Usually small dogs are frightend by the storm, even big dogs. Or else they might've saw something out the door.
