Is there anyone scarier than the Slender Man? If so, who? And why?

Well, there are the Styx from Tunnels.... they are a subterrean race of humans, who plan to claim the surface world for themselves by wiping out its population. They often use their devastating plague to kill off people, however, anyone who confronts then will be slayed with their gigantic, knife-like blades.
Is there anyone scarier than the Slender Man? If so, who? And why?
